I technically should be working right now, but I decided to take a break & finally post some pictures. I'm sorry it's taken so long to get them up, but life is a bit hectic.

It's all been crazy lately. I have some pictures of the house but need to put take a couple more & I've had the request of a video as well.

Work has been keeping me busy as its getting close to our code freeze. Come November 16th, there will be no changes made to the site. It's peak time for retail & no one wants to mess with that.

So that means, that anything they want changed on the site before that is all of a sudden on our plate. It sort of reminds me of the end of the semester at school & that teacher you had who had not planned her lessons out well enough is all of a sudden having you do all sorts of work. That's me now. I'll be working this weekend, trying to play catch-up.

Oh, and tomorrow, because I'm apparently psychotic, all 3 animals have a vet appointment. Both dogs & the cat are making the trip.

But that's about all for now...pictures & video soon...SWEAR!

Time to settle down

We're in. That's right, I am officially a homeowner.

Thanks to my mom, Ham, my brother Derek & his friend Seth, we got all the big stuff in on the 1st of October & spent our first night in the house.

So we're in.  Everything is set up at this point, now it's just a matter of settling in.  Hanging some things up, getting little things here & there fixed.  Not messing with this kid when he's watching his cartoons....

We've got a full house.  This may be the first time in my life where the girls are in the minority...well unless you include Leila & Penny.  But, out of the humans in the house, I'm surrounded by boys.

This little lady! Heidi came by on the 2nd & gave me my house warming gift!  I was so excited.  I've wanted a cat for a while now & have just been waiting to get into my own place until I got one.  



Ham took this video this morning.  This was after she had calmed down a bit, I woke up to her trying to bite her own collar & doing flips over us.

Soon I'll write again...possibly about some of the things I've learned as a new homeowner.  There are some important lessons.
